Alzheimers is Horrible

Sweet friends, I intended to blog about this past weekend tonight but now, I don't know...For the last four hours I've been at my mother-in-law's bedside. Tonight may be her last. On the other hand, we've been at this point many times in the last few years. She may outlive me. Only God knows. To blog about the weekend feels wrong at this moment. My heart is sore. I will leave it for another time, okay? Thanks.

Hugs,
Shellie

  4. Shelly,

It makes me sad to hear about Ms. Lucy. I remember sitting behind her in church and seeing her in Daddy's grocery store and thinking that she was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen. And she was funny too. Boy, that seems like a lifetime ago. Please know that you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

  5. Shellie, I am truly sorry for you and your family as your deal with your mother-in-law's illness. I have been there myself as I watched my own father slip farther and farther away. I know he forgot more than I will ever know but he has gone to be with Jesus and his suffering and ours is history.
